Democrats support gun ownership, just not the wackos on the far right who want to hoard military arsenals in expectation of Armageddon. Anyone who tells you Dems want to "take your guns away" is totally full of it.

In the last election there was only one multiple gun owner and experienced hunter/marksman/combat hero running, John Kerry.

But it was GW who was taking the money from the NRA in exchange for letting them do anything damn thing they want. And the NRA always takes things too far.

The democrats by and large do not attempt to restrict gun ownership, although there is a consensus that gun ownership should be disclosed.
