you are right

rather than try and address the problem, they are taking this as an opportunity to bash whoever is on their chit list

we see it here on a smaller scale, but same pattern

It's typical the best or poor plans of men really mean squat to mother nature. It's typical of the stupid and dishonest to attempt to create a story that shows them some money or power.

It's typical governmental bureaucracy at work to not reach the best plan or solution or even to make things worse. typical governmental bureaucracy had no real connection to the devastation caused by Katrina.
