The biggest problem the Repubs have is the leftwing MSM... The propaganda coming from that source is simply unbelievable! A lady sitting next to me on the return flight last night, a social worker, and most probably a good, and caring one, quoted several untruths about GWB...most probably gathered by Daily Kos....The had NO idea what Salman Pak was, NO idea that it's documented that Saddam was funding terrorists and suicide bombers, had NO idea why we are in Iraq, had NO idea that Iran isn't an easy fix, but didn't want us to go in there (neither do I) but continued saying it was all about oil. GWB wanted "the oil".... I mentioned to her that if that were the case, we would have taken it many moons ago...I notice we haven't.... She never heard of posse comitius (?sp) and thought it didn't matter...the Feds should have gone in anyway. (I had the feeling that she thought the Federal Government could fix anything...and asked her exactly what their own local community plans are in case of a huge tsunami or earthquake or a dirty nuke....) She said that nursing homes for the FIRST time in their area are making some joint plans as of a couple weeks ago.
