I am so impressed with the power of Daily Reflections, I wondered what would happen if the kind words were replaced with unkind words. Just as a little experiment, I replaced 25 of the 39 kind words used in Daily Reflections with words I culled from the most recent 50 messages in a thread that I frequently post in (not this one, of course).

Please understand, my intent is to demonstrate the power of words, whether they are kind or mean. These words DO NOT apply to anyone here. I just wanted to show what happens as a consequence of our choice of words.

The effect was so powerful on ME I was sure that someone would misunderstand or be hurt by a completely nonsensical random assignment of harsh and ugly words. I had to put random names in place of the names of Reflections afficianados. I hope this gets me off the hook.

Doesn't make you feel very good, does it?
