From Briefing.com: 10:30AM Analog Devices increases regular cash dividend and announces $1 bln share repurchase program (ADI) 37.34 +0.40 : Co announced an increase in its regular quarterly dividend to $0.16 per outstanding share of common stock, an increase of more than 30% over the $0.12 dividend declared in February of 2006. The board also authorized the repurchase of up to $1 bln of ADI's common stock.

11:30 am : The market has bounced back to the top of the morning's trading range. The yield on the 10-year note is continuing to ease, and that is providing some relief for the equity market. Currently, the benchmark note is up 17 ticks and down to a 4.70% yield. When the stock market closed yesterday, the 10-year was yielding 4.76%. Technical factors, due to oversold conditions, are driving trade within the bond market. The February Retail Sales report and worse than expected Current Account deficit have helped underpin the improvement. In terms of economic data, traders' focus is now looking ahead to Thursday's CPI report.DJ30 +22.09 NASDAQ +9.70 SP500 +3.93 NASDAQ Dec/Adv/Vol 1393/1418/690.1 mln NYSE Dec/Adv/Vol 1474/1538/454.7 mln

Don, I'm secretly rooting for a good rally here. I find that the more negative I get the more likely that will happen. So disregard the first part of this message...

I just wanted to add a couple thoughts. Remember that the average length of time from an actual cyclical top is 11 months. Outlooks too close to a bottom will look horrible. Outlooks close to a top will look excellent.

We have not even got a top yet for sure.
