Dear Joe:

A client of mine recently picked up a dv8000 series Turion Laptop with a ML-34, twin 80GB hard drives, the 17" screen (her eyesight is bad), the numeric keypad (a must for her being a accountant), 1GB of DDR all for about $1100. She likes it a lot. Far faster than the turbojet sounding P4 PC at work. It scared her the first few times it spun up, but she uses it as a foot warmer, nicely tucked under her desk.
