They did the almost exact thing, plot line wise, to the LDS. I sense something bad may happen to ole Chef, but "South Park" lost a woman (suicide if I recall) who did many voices on the show a couple of years ago, her characters continued.

Those guys cross lines all the time, suppose it depends on which line is yours. That's too bad, Hayes was great in that role and many younger people only know him through that work.
