"Bowling For Columbine" cannot be a lie, it's a documentary. Yes, it is slanted, but the footage is all real, un-scripted and so the contents of the film can't be debated. The NRA is no benevolent organization. What they stand for deep-down is white supremacy, the rightwing's right to overthrow the government if they don't like it, and of course they're lobbyists for the gun manufacturers, a death industry. The NRA is not needed for hunters or for those who want to keep a handgun for home defense. They are only needed for those who want to inundate our society with weapons, provide more military weapons to rightwing individuals and to run smear campaigns against any politician who doesn't kowtow to them. And yes, the NRA was founded right after the KKK was forced to go underground, so they are linked.
