<we ought to be able to even out at zero zero :0)> I suppose in the long run, we end up at bank rates, when risk adjustments and great gains and fearful losses are averaged out. A kind of grey-ooze financial reduction to the norm theory.

I also had a great deal of help in averaging down with my Globalstar losses of double-wallop strength, which were a LOT of fun. My little Tonka Truck wheels went over the edge of a cliff and it took some QCOM being hurriedly shovelled out to rebalance things sufficiently to get back on the highway. Phew, narrow escape. It is fun to live dangerously.

Livedoor to be delisted in April. Up 14% today on the news - vultures have to get in quick.

You forgot your housing short [which helped your Google short]. I nearly piled in to the housing short at the peak but due to a tax audit ongoing at the time, I refrained to be prudent. It would have been a fun short. TOL is down a lot since the peak, when I was drooling and about to pile in. There are always more opportunities coming rolling in, like surf at a beach.
