Exactly. You noticed that neither you nor I used terms implicative of democratic ideals. We also both proposed a short duration for the transition, and then return to the status quo. Your proposal included some controlling elements that mine did not. We could propose a Constitutional Amendment that requires a dictatorship for a duration of four years every century. Perhaps a small group of three or five people could review ans slash unnecessary bureaucracy.
