Maybe the Greenpeace ship can run into more coral reefs and solve the problem.

re:Fact. Coral bleaching occurs when the water is too warm

You, on the other hand, usually don't even dimly understand the things you post. Which is why you usually don't have a link. I suspect you don't know how to do one.

No, he's just idleing at the moment.
You see longshort is a paid poster. He get's money from a foundation, probably one of Richard Mellon Scaife's many projects. Part of his pay comes from commission based on how many people he can get to reply to his rants, which is why he makes himself such an easy target for replies. If he gets no replies he will chat with his co-worker Steve Harris. They make tag-team insults until someone is offended.

As I said, he's in idle mode now just trying to run up the bill. Scaife doesn't mind because it's a retainer. When Bush or one of Scaife's interests is in trouble they will both disappear from posting for a day or two while they are busy swiftboating some patriot, probably on a hundred different chat groups that day. Then they come back here to log some posts that indicates to the foundation that they are still on the job and waiting for the next event.

Only someone who is completely ignorant, like yourself, or has an axe to grind, like Crichton, says any different.

It's a shocking essay. Global warming, destruction of tropical forests and the effects on weather, dwindling fish harvests, exctintion of species as a result of human consumption, acid rain, destruction of the ozone layer...all religious myths unsupported by scientific evidence. Complete dismissal of the mitigation in many of these conditions as a result of environmental awareness and intervention by " religious zealots" like Pauling, Ehrlich and many others.

It is a tool of the right to lump all "objectionable" positions into the most radical example, and use such to discredit and trivialize concerns and call to action. Amazing ignorance.
