My mother- and father-in-law often travel with my brother-in-law. BIL has dark hair and a mustache and is in good physical shape--possibly could pass for Middle Eastern. MIL and FIL are in the late 80s, not wheelchair bound, too proud for that. FIL is hard of hearing.

Who gets routinely checked by TSA? MIL and FIL, of course. BIL almost never.

I think the TSA picks out people who they think will not give them a hard time when they are searched. This is my impression, and that of others, but not a substantiated fact.

They are not only wasting resources, they are endangering us because they don't seem to hassle the hard cases.

This makes no sense.
