the way i read it, the US gov. got a loan from the Federal Reserve for 10.9 Bln. As collateral "we the people" put up gold at $42/oz.

So when "we the people" default on our debt the Feds got our gold at $42/oz.

I dont remember getting to vote on that <g...

i could be wrong but thats what it looks like to me

Ft Knox has not been inventoried in about 25 ys. Used to be
done regularly.

One of the doubters investigated and was satisfied it was
probably still there, several yrs ago. Don't have details.

So I would really like to see it inventoried, should be
possible. And resistance to this means a problem IMO.
