I think Peter and Darren are closer to me than you seem to be, so, yes, I'd consider them more or less moderates. I'm what you would call right of center because I believe the state should own less than half of my labour. In fact, you'd probably call me an extremist because I would be happier with a flat 20% total income tax above $15K. I'd be even happier with a limited government along the lines of Mises or Friedman.

It's not that I consider you an extremist (your actual political position is probably not all that far to the left of the rest of us), but your stubborn insistence that Liberal = Good and Conservative = Bad makes it difficult to find common ground.

Peter ? In my world yes... and Darren is a t least a moderate as you fresc ... think about it now..

This really made me laugh when you inadvertently stuck a big Label on yourself... and certainly removed yourself from the moderate ranks..
