I still say it didnt have to turn out that way. By the way, in my last post i attacked rummy but being honest rummy is bushes dod and its is bush who hasnt fired him and supposedly wouldnt even take his resignation. So Bush must go too. Give me a candidate i can vote for steve. McCain is a stand up guy but he is more conservative than bush and voting for him is like voting for hawk when it relates to iraq. I like hawk too.

I remember saying that would be the exit rationale. It has become fashionable of late. However, Powell had it correct when he cautioned GWB prior to the war with "you break it, you own it" comment. Tis a pity that particular Eagle chose to roost with Turkeys as long as he did. He unfortunately forgot how to fly IMO.

Yep. Blaming the Iraqis for the mess is the last refuge for this mess. I think throwing in the Iranians is just the cherry on top of the fudge sundae of insanity. There is something so wrong in the WH. I wonder if the WH knows it or if the delusion and the isolation is so profound that the entire place has gone insane. Ditto the Republican Congress. After calling Murtha a coward, now they're calling Feingold a friend to terrorists. What kind of people are these? How do they get into such high office? We are in such trouble.
