Richard Benson and Chromatic Dispersion seem to make the case from thier posts that the time is NOW. The fed is playing thier magician tricks right NOW. It is happening before you. The whole reason to stop reporting certain data was to begin the magic tricks and debasement. They say once the markets fully digest this - what Warren Buffet has warned will happen - sudden drop in the value of the dollar. Philster says Pimco and offshore guys playing tricks now with rates and bonds.

Mogambo Guru promises it is just around the corner but Mauldin has said in the past he believes we can muddle through with no quick knee jerk changes - he seems to change his tune every so often however - reminding me of Puplava.

General Chen is betting coconuts future on total currency calamity and GST says the future requires mass innovation and disruptive technology - the consensus at slashdot seems to agree with him.

Like Mish keeps reminding me, there are tricksters everywhere - silly guys telling me energy grows magically and he has to go on C-Span and show them up for the fools they are. Remember young wizard - cast disrupt illusion and continue to disbelieve - you will gain experience and go up in levels.

Grace Z types tell me the warren buffet General RE stuff was much worse type of risky derivative than what fannie and freddie have gotten into and harder to liquidate. I do think the thousands or tens or hundreds of thousands of people that exist and thrive because of current fractional reserve banking will not go so easily - Japan is proof that you just keep the bad loans on the books and work around them.

I will continue to invest as I always have, buying into things that I use and need and can change my life for the better. Energy, technology, healthcare, consumer staples, etc etc.
