This is not my area of expertise but arent you confusing creationism with ID? Personally i like to believe in ID even though there are few signs in today's world that the creator(s) werent just a bunch of ex-catskill comics. What a world.

Behe and Dembski are the two biggest names in ID and what they say below sounds pretty consistent with theistic evolution, doesn't it?

Michael Behe: "I am an evolutionist in the sense that I do think natural selection explains many things ... But from what I see, the evidence only shows natural selection explaining rather small changes ... If is fine by me if common descent is true, and there is some sort of designed program to power changes over time ...";

William Dembski: "Right now I'm inclined toward a preprogrammed form of evolution in which life evolves teleologically ..".

BTW, theistic evolution is contrary to the science as taught. Only natural causes powering evolution are kosher with the theory as it is taught.
