The Acquicor units did close at $6.80 today. That is probably the best first day performance for any of the blank check IPOs. You can thank a high profile management team. We will probably see a press release tomorrow morning, followed by a fair amount of media coverage heralding the return of the Woz. They did not have the final prospectus filed by the end of today, so I have not posted the final stats. There are still 36 deals in registration, 10 companies working on closing their deals, and 33 public companies still looking for acquisitions. As you note, it should be a busy summer.
