Hi tech101. Comparing AT&T's capital budget to that of Google's is laughable for too many reasons to list here, and for the purpose it was injected into his argument. Up to that point, the author did a good job of squeaking and worming his way out of a tight spot that he had gotten himself into earlier, and then he proceeded to blow it. Thanks for posting it.
