GG, the attached reference material shows how to convert between ct/m3 and ct/tonne. As can be immagined, you need the density of the gravel and sand to make the conversion, and this likely varies. SDM has Average grade 0.67 carats per cubic meter . Using a density of quartz (2.66gms/cm3) as an estimate for the average density of the sized gravel fraction we arrive at 0.25 carats per tonne.
