My point is that those Iraqis seeking information in Iraq about events in Iraq have better means than the New York Times. Especially on issues like this. I think there is a tendency to give the so-called MSM too much credit. Either it is irrelevant, as some complain, or it is so powerful that it can cause an Iraqi ten thousand miles away to be incited to violence.

Perhap other factors are at play. The New York Times may be one, but it isn't so powerful that it can bring Iraqi's into the streets all by itself.

Now Fox News...that is another story. O'Reilly could cause a riot any day!
