Wow, Rainy_Day_Woman posted proof positive that engineers are really humans who make mistakes.

In life, so so many times simply being distracted for a second sets in motion a chain of event with very bad results. A simple calculation. A misread of input number or output numbers, a verification of the wrong page in a book. Where errors come from is endless.

Systems of checks and balance are put in place so a single error does not get through. Systems put in place by humans who make mistakes.

I do marvel at the dumb people who are oblivious to that can somehow come up with a delusion that it's all the fault of PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH.

It is really very very funny and how it makes them unhappy.

I wonder who has not made errors or had distractions that they know just because of luck massive damage was averted.

An appliance left on. A near miss on the highway... and on and on.

I believe any person who cannot think of any are truly lucky airheads. And I bet they are democrats, unhappy democrats... LOL...
