I am willing to grant Presidents the space to make mistakes.

I simply believe that the same standards for forgiveness should be applied regardless.

JFK got off scot free and continues to be worshipped. Who knows what would have happened if Oswald had missed?

LBJ got off.

Nixon didn't.

Ford had nothing to get off, but was ridiculed for stumbling on the tarmac.

Carter got off. Nobody called for his impeachment for giving away the Panama Canal or messing up the hostage rescue. He paid for his mistakes at the ballot box, which is the way it should be.

Reagan was rewarded for a successful presidency.

Bush 41 was successful but should have stayed his course, got tired and was beaten by Clinton but had nothing to get off.

Clinton got off for all manner of things.

You guys seem to want Bush 43 to be impeached for sticking with his principles and staying the course that he laid out after the most egregious events imaginable. You harp on it so much that the objective becomes more and more in doubt.

Bush makes policy adjustments all the time. You just hate Bush, and you can't stop. If you would just shut up and sing, this would be over with in due time. If not you personally, then the people who want him to fail so they can celebrate.
