Baghdad - American forces have dramatically increased air strikes in Iraq during the past five months, a change of tactics that may foreshadow how the United States plans to battle a still-strong insurgency while reducing the number of US ground troops serving here.

yes..soon we will be at the beck and call of the Iraqi military...serving up airstrikes at their request, only deepening out involvement in sectarian violence. Our so called leadership is about as stupid as it gets.
