Another technique for QCOM - assuming you bought calls a while back - is to write covered calls to implement a bull spread. After today, I am betting that the stock will drop sometime next week to retest the gap so I can buy them back. Then we should get another pop a week or so before CTIA Wireless (5-7 Apr) for another write opportunity.

Good luck.

>> Might be a good day to write a call or two against QCOM holdings. The premiums have been poor for a long time, but may improve here.

I wrote April 50s on 2/27 for 1.45. The stock's gone up 2 points since then, but the call is only up .35, because time premium has eroded. I'm hoping for an inexpensive buy back on a dip in the next few weeks. Bwtfdik?
