You would think that is usually the case. But can the real estate stuff go down if the overall stock market is powering higher? The real economy not tied to consumer discretionary or housing could remain strong outside of an external event or large backup in long term rates IMHO.. That might not be enough to avert a recession but with that comes a steeper yield curve..

Just looked at the VIX again. When it is low it is time to go? Worked late last July buy you would have been slammed if you believed in it back in mid November
