What's even scarier is Bush using tactical nukes in his "pre-emptive" strike on Iran's underground nuclear facilities. Which I think he's entirely capable of doing.

What's even sadder is that it would probably fail completely, given the recent performances of our intelligence services. Bush may up nuking some mud huts.

The scary thought of the day is that an air attack on Iran, however that might be constituted, would be the October surprise in time for the midterms.

I fully expect Rove & Co. to play Iran very well for the mid-terms. I doubt the attack will come before the election however. The strategy will be to bang the war drums and paint the Dems as clueless. The clueless voters will then re-elect the Reps. It's almost funny!

Truth be told, the Dems are politically clueless compared to the Reps these days. Totally outclassed. American voters are even more stupid unfortunately.
