"it seems to me they have done very well for themselves....." I don't think so. Just as Blair in the U.K. wants to desperately be judged favorably by history (IMO a major reason why he is still hanging on), I firmly believe that people in this administration would like to make their mark. Most of the senior people were very well off before they entered the administration. This is not a poor man's club to say the least. They failed miserably in most of their important policy decisions and will be forever remembered as complete and utter failures. Not a happy prospect!
