Thanks for the recomendation, it was an amazing interview. Did you hear how nervous Father Newman made Owen Bennett Jones, the BBC interviewer? Father Newman spoke so calmly and gently, yet kept blowing away (by force of his sincere, rational and non-polemical but obvious disbelief) all kinds of world-view assumptions so dear to the institutionalized leftism of the BBC mindset: It's not a religious war. Terrorism is caused by poverty and/or discrimination. Demographics don't matter. If the forms of the secular state are maintained, it doesn't matter if large sections of populations don't assimilate; we can be multi-cultural. Islam is not a problem in the modern world. And so on and so forth.
