Its not just that, the Dems in fact lack any coherent political strategy. For whatever faults Rove & neocons have, they can take even a freaking disaster, made as the result of ideological pig headedness, and make political good out of more of the same. Its like making a virtue of stupidity. "Yeah, we screwed up left and right, but God, think what will happen if the Dems get in power". Thats the final message, and enough over 50% of American voters buy it. I find it disgusting to watch, but I admire them as well.
