Just told a buddy in Ft Lauderdale about the most recent positive developments in the San Diego housing market and he just couldn't believe it: According to our broker friend the market went flat around June/July 2005 so our friend took a long vacation. We have seen "for sale" signs all over the place with nobody buying from then during 2005 but interestingly almost no drop in prices. In January, however, the business picked up and she has been doing well the last 3 months with a lot of buyers interest quite a few closings.

Looking around the other day in the FL keys, however, was different. Quite a few old restaurants and motels closed doors and I saw "For Sales" signs all over the place.
