Kerry did not vote for an invasion, he voted for a real threat of force to disarm Saddam, that is to make sure Saddam let the UN inspectors everywhere they wanted to go and systematically search the country. Without the real threat of force Saddam would not have allowed it. Kerry said it over and over again, only go to war as a last resort and when you do wait until you are very well prepared for the troops' sake.

A few dems like Lieberman may have voted to rush into Iraq, but not Kerry. He made thast very clear. And Bush not only promised to do as Kerry said, but he broke his promise, and his people provided the senate with misleading intel to boot.

Why would any sensible legislator give a blank check for military invasion in the Mid East to two known oil men, Bush and Cheney?

Damn Right!

Legislators should consult the girls in the striped aprons and funny hats that sell waffle cones in the mall.
