So, since you are willing to pay more...I assume you are sending more in to Uncle Sam than you are required to do, correct?

Yes you and howard dean want to raise taxes, A family of four can afford a 4000% increase in taxes according the leader of the democrat national committee. all kenny has to do is claim no deductions and you can declare imaginary income. There is no law against it.

The truely rich don't even work jobs. They don't even pay taxes. They live off of capital gains and interest on municipal bonds. They also have great tax shelters, trusts and offshore scams, shill companies. Where is the Estate Tax for the Kennedy's for example? I don't see any of their mansions going bye bye from one generation to the next. What did bill Clinton do? That's right he declared that anybody working a JOB and making more than 100K is truely rich! What a crock of BS and he raised their taxes dramatically. They were simply middle class folks. He didn't touch the REALLY rich. He closed no shelters, trusts or raise the capital gains rate or add taxes to munis.

And WHO gets to decide who can afford to pay more? I got hit with an UNEXPECTED $6,000 tax increase this year ever PHANTOM income. Now if you look at my balance sheet you likely would say I can afford it, but its a blow to my CASH FLOW and as a result I had to forego intended jeep modifications I was going to make this year. That means several companies lost sales to me effecting THEIR revenue. Its the MULTIPLIER effect that increased taxes does adversely to the economy. jdn

Kenny, the taxpayers this year shall short the government more than the annual deficit. Collection of taxes is more important than increasing taxes. I know that you do not have management experience, but what must be done is not to raise taxes, but to have the government collect what is already imposed upon the taxpayer. As you can see, this is another example of a governemt agency doing a poor job. The answer is not to send them more, but instead to have them do a better job.
