If clinton said that (which I cannot believe he did), then how come he didn't take the Sudanese offer to take Bin Laden into custody when he had the chance? He was offered the guy on three separate occasions... he can't make such a comment and then not take him into custody, you can't have it both ways...

Clinton lies to make himself look good. Now since the 911 plot was underway (most of the hijackers in the country, flight training underway) when Clinton left office and since you think Bush should have known about it, why shouldn't Clinton have known about it and warned Bush of the plot?

I paid attention to the 2000 campaign and I don't recall hearing Bush say ANYTHING about Iraq?

Also if Clinton thought OBL was the biggest security problem, why did he turn down so many chances to knock him off. In fact, he (or his administration) turned down an opportunity to have him turned over by the Sudanese.
