Excuse me, then. I believe you answered your own question: Bush has not yet failed on his promise to capture bin laden, there is no deadline, you can't be impatient about this.

As to Clinton and bin Laden...the only story with which I'm familiar is the one in which bin Laden was accompanied by the royal Saudi family, which precluded taking him out.
