You could well be right. I'm not a Dem, and they are the most pitiful of opposition parties, but they are the only hope against the ruin the Bushies are driving us to.

The Bushies may not be building ovens for the Jews, but they are very Nazi-like, in many ways. If you study how the Nazis came to power, it's eerily a mirror of the Rove political chops. I suppose enough time has past for the re-reun not to trigger recognition and revulsion.

I hope they can field another Clinton-type (and I DON'T mean Hillary!) - a man who can win with a positive agenda over the fearmongering and smears.

The Dems need to drop some of their baggage. Support the second amendment - many voters vote Republican ONLY for that issue. Moderate more on abortion - maybe even SUPPORT a ban on partial birth abortion where the life of the mother isn't threatened.

If the Dems become the Repugnicans I won't vote at all - as many choose to do now. Or, I may just vote for independent and third party candidates who's positions I support.
