And yes, the "he drained the swamps and got rid of the malaria" is pretty much the Italian version of "Hitler did lot of good things like building the Autobahns". Guardi, eccola, la mia scherza! And he did it long before DDT. The right way according to you guys. As for the stature of the two leaders, bviously the Italians do prefer bantam weighters in office. Got it all lined out now? Taro

Small town provokes big outrage In Vermont, vote to impeach president spurs backlash boston.com I have sent emails to their business association and to a journalist in the town. I also will call them on Monday and tell them I support what they have done and will visit them the next time I am in NE. I also will encourage my sister and her friends and family who all live in New England to visit the town and spend money. At minimum I would ask you and everyone else on the thread of like mind to also let them know that you support the concept of what they are doing even if you think impeachment is nto feasible and senseless. In any case, I see their vote as more a protest rather than the start of something. Do you know what I mean? It seems to me that the only way to fight rightwing backlashes is to do a positve backlash back. ted
