You have to be 18 years old. Which means you've reached a level of maturity which is acceptable to society. So not everyone gets to vote. And that's my point with specific bans.

Bush-Cheney-Rove cheated to get into power. Under Bush-Rove, not all were allowed to vote nor were all their votes counted. The cheating and dirty tricks in Florida 2000 and Ohio 2004 were outrageous. They definitely stole it from Gore, and likely did the same with Kerry, with the collusion of their pals at Diebold. These were coup d'etats. They hijacked our democracy and government. Why? Because they knew they had to to win. And they will do anything to win, even start an unnecessary poorly-planned war to swipe the 2002 midterms. Also disgraceful were the smear campaigns, fake terrorist alerts and wave upon wave of totally misleading negative ads. We need new laws to protect each American vote and to enforce some sort of truth in advertising like we do with commercial products. Also, smear campaigns should be banned.
