actually read it. There are no good bad solutions if you get my drift. Bad solutions are always bad. Best case here is to talk our way thru it and out of it. When i say geopolitical i think back to the cold war when turkey,iran and israel were the offset to the ussr and the arabs. Iran needs to produce and sell to US and other western markets. Oil buyers arent enough to go to the next step and these days iran has to worry about arabs, particularly the wahabis who would love to go mullah hunting.

The real enemy is al quaeda. Shiaa and iranians are modern enough to be dealt with. Iran almost went to war with taliban who are from earlier centuries. Women in iran are treated OK, not great but OK and there are some freedomes. We need iran to become more like china by adopting more demcocracy, capitialism etc. Bin laden and wahabis will never do that.
