Iran sounds suicidal notes at times as does NK. The problem is that the before the Cuban Missile Crisis there was no red phone. In october of 1962, we really did go to the brink. The outcome only came about because k&k were both in the end reasonable men with a western background. There are no red phones in iran or NK or iraq before invastion. I dont think i want to go to the brink with those dudes. And yes call me not PC, but arabs, persians and north koreans may be many things but they are not western so who can know what the outcome would be. Remember the old Fram oil filter commercial regarding preventive service on a car--"you can pay me now or pay me later." implicit is that payment would be a lot more later.
