I would call those Bush-Cheney Republican definitions; could be we will see a new kind of Republican party by the time the 2008 campaign heats up.

Re: bankruptcy. It appears -- this is preliminary but this is what it appears -- that bankruptcy is actually easier for most people under the new laws.

In fact, even for people filing for Chapter 13, they may be able to discharge more debt.

I haven't had many cases since the law changed but so far I haven't seen any difficulties in filing other than a few more hoops to jump through.
