Yeah, I probably would. It's hard to describe what it's been like in the heart of hurricane season the last 2 years. You can't help but obsess about it... you check the status 3-4 times a day, more when there is an active storm that could threaten you. And if you take a direct hit, there is nothing you can do, your life changes dramatically. You lose everything you spent your life collecting.


If you are serious.....and you sound serious......then do in fairly quickly.....in the next year. In LA, after the earthquake it took nearly 5 years for the housing market to recover. True part of the problem was LA economics at the time.....however, I learned then that some people share a common threshold and when that threshold is reached, they act. My point is that there may be others in the Tampa area who have similar concerns, and if one more hurricane hits, they may decide to go too. I know my cousin is at that place as well. Only problem for him is that his wife is a native Floridian.
