Nah, his wife is a diplomat who serves in Botswana or some place like that. He used to be a foreign service employee too in the Balkans (was a hawk then but a Democrat was President) - I think he resigned cause he couldnt stomach working for the Bush administration. Since then he follows her around the world from assignment to assignment. Posts as if he's an independent fund manager of some sort. Actually he's from TX originally and is trying to make up for that. He despises Texans, rednecks, and pretty much anyone who isn't a down-on-America liberal.
