The leftist bias in most newspapers has driven away readers. Technology has helped thin the ranks of readers. The internet, cable news, and conservative talk radio have all played a part in giving the other side, a side that was hidden for so long by the so-called mainstream media.

Absolute crap coming from you. As ever, you have got it all wrong again!

The truth is that the majority of Americans have had a relatively poor education because of the nation's inadequate and wishy-washy education system. As a consequence, the majority of Americans are poor readers or reluctant readers! Many prefer to get all their news and info from sound bytes/bites. All this simply they habitually want others to do the thinking for them and mere listening and watching TV would save them a heck of a lot of time which they'd rather lavish on amusement and entertainment and past times! Remember that Americans live in a fast-food world, and time must be channeled towards having lots of fun, not doing serious thinking.

Because you have a short attention span, let me remind you: most Americans are poor or reluctant readers, and prefer to get news and data/info fast from cable/satellite TV and the internet where stuff have been neatly prepackaged and digested for them and, more often than not, the media is a government- and big-business- compliant media. Many Americans are so dumbed down they'd readily swallow the media shit hook-line-and-sinker!

Now that the Bushies are falling and failing, you are sounding more and more desperate, and you would blame the decline of the papers to wacko leftists! What a laugh! LOL
ROFLMAO!

I suggest you reread your post several times over since you contradict yourself.

This is another instance of a decay of anything American. Such as the decay in the US military's ability to achieve its objectives because they have to kowtow to a political idiot, the decay of GM and Ford, the decay of the American worker's pride because of job flight and now the decay of the newspaper infrastructure.

You, like other stupid extremists may continue to view this from a partisan angle. But to me it is a decay of all things American. There are some red states which are turning pink and that bodes well for the future of this country.

And here is an example of a foreign news service whose reporting scorns the US.
