Things are going just fine without giving the rightwing ammo to marginalize the anti-Bush movement. If you shine the light on Michael Moore and Russ Feingold it gives the rightwing spin machine ammo to make the case "Okay we're bad, but look at those crazy lefties. You don't want them in charge either, do you?" And millions of swing-voters in November might agree. It would also mobilize the disenchanted rightwing base and give dittoheads something to crow about.

Better for them to resign to having moderates and a few liberals run things, rather than liberals and a few moderates.

If you want to help the liberal cause then fight against a Bushie congressman and help get him bounced. That helps more than anything.

"Might this not reflect the fact that the Dems usually get about half their funding from wealthy Zionists -- most of whom support the war because of its perceived benefit to Israel."

What else can explain that when polls show that the vast majority of Dems oppose the war, want to pull out, their elected representatives still favor it? They are treating ALL their constituents the same way they have treated the blacks for years - where else are they going to go?
