Nobody said the left is "loony", but on the FISA law case, though we know Bush is guilty, there is a process. Feingold's censure is fine, but it alienates just as many people as it stimulates. Better to nail down more solid evidence so that public opinion on the illegal spying changes. Once Bush's approval on illegal spying drops to 30%, then he could be not only censured but impeached. Don't ask me why but 50% of the country think illegal spying is okay. What's need to convince them is solid proof that Bush was not just spying on terrorist suspects, but innocent Americans. Then and only then will Bush's approvals on this plummet.
