My guess is that Federal Mogul's chapter 11 case will be resolved eventually, and probably result in the cancellation of equity, especially now given the drop in price of comparable companies. Their last plan called for equity holders to receive some warrants. They have a web site, fmoplan.com , that has some information.

It looks like most of these companies with asbestos-related charges are finding their own way out of bankruptcy, without Congress passing a bill.
