Paul:

In my opinion, APCC and RSAS are both leaders in their fields, at least in their niche of their field in the case of RSAS. The consumer stuff for APCC doesn't really excite me although they are a leader their also, it is the corporate mega-infrastructure power backup stuff that I think sets them apart. If you are a cable company offering all sorts of video-on-demand options, how much revenue do you think would be lost and how much customer service nightmare would you have on your hand if you lose power in your computer center, even for a few minutes....

In 1984, when we built our first UPS, I don't think anyone at APC could have imagined a better scenario for the Company than what we are seeing today. Data has become money, and it is flying around the globe, without bounds, at an incredible rate of speed. As a company we could not have hoped for a better business opportunity than one in which network downtime correlates to a loss of revenue.

Not 2 mention both companies have rock solid balance sheets, tons of cash and no debt and highly profitable. Not so great a growth rate caused both stocks 2 drop, but I believe both industries have lots of future growth, enough 4 APCC/RSAS to do well even if their competitors are growing as well....

The drops were a gift 2 value investors who love to kick massive quantities of b, like me !
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
