Hey guys thanks for keeping this thread alive.

Stock Collecting has been in the news again. I think the hobby is getting kicked started by a guy that was on CNBC.

Here is a picture of an etoys stock certificate:

eoldstocks.com

The website is mine but it it hardly pays to keep it running, so I hope others can enjoy the pictures of all the old stocks. I do not advertise the website because I do not try to sell them. My buyers come from people that search google or some other search engine.

My last buyer that I emailed said she found my site by doing a google image search for trains. She ended up buying a B&O railroad stock.

I have stopped getting stocks issued to me from the brokers because the cost is to high.

I used to have a lot of stocks framed on my walls. The wife wanted the walls repainted so some of them didn't make them back up on the walls. The stocks that did make it back on the walls were the Titanic (IMM), Million Dollar Saloon, & Red Bell Brewing. My kids even like the the old stocks. My son the computer game player he is has an eGames stock & growing up he always loved train so he also has a Rail Road Stock with an old steam engine on it. My daughter has a Viacom on her wall because she watches NICK on TV all the time.

I gave the stock certificates to my kids hoping they will want to learn about & invest in the stock market.
