Packer is far from being a ACC homer...

Packer played for Wake Forest in the sixties. He really wanted to play for Duke, but nether Duke or UNC offered a scholarship to him. He is simple horrible doing a Duke or UNC game. Wonder why?

Most ACC fans hate to see him do a game.....

Last time I checked, Duke was in the ACC. And Packer passionately hates Duke. But that's personal, because he wanted to play for Duke but was not recruited by them.

Certainly, Packer's pro-ACC comments to the head of the Selection Committee were disgusting and shameless. Also, his reasoning was completely flawed. How many ACC teams have made the Final Four has ZERO bearing on how many ACC teams should make it into the tourney as a 10 or 11 seed. Anyway, the mid-majors performed brilliantly.
